The piano is the most versatile, dynamic, expressive and fulfilling instrument and is simple to learn and it is possible to develop skills quickly and effectively. If you are a beginner, I will introduce you to the fundamental skills of performing and reading and work closely with you so that you are able to fulfil your musical ambitions. If you are more experienced, I will help you to expand your musical knowledge and experience through a variety of musical styles and genres. You may wish to take ABRSM grades in performance, through which I will support you fully in your technical, sight reading and aural skills.
At NRM the students have a range of performance opportunities, which include biannual concerts at Saint Andrew’s Church, Foxton, and public events though our learning company, Sentimental Journey Limited. We also offer performance opportunities within the wider community, including residential homes and with Alzheimer’s patients.
